Terms of use

Who we are and what you are agreeing to
CodeMago is a product of Alpha Developer Services LTDA, Brazilian company registry (CNPJ) 67.106.947/0001-52, based in Mogi das Cruzes, SP, Brasil. These terms are the contract between you and us.
By creating an account or paying for a plan, you accept what is written here. If you disagree with any part of it, do not use the service.
Questions about any point? Write to [email protected] before you subscribe.
What CodeMago does
You describe the app you want in plain text. An artificial intelligence generates the code. You adjust it by chatting and then publish.
A published app lives at an address like yourname.codemago.app. While you work, the preview lives at preview-yourtoken.codemago.app. If you prefer, you can connect your own domain to your app.
Apps generated today store their data in the browser of whoever uses them. There is no database of ours behind them. If the person clears their browser, their data is gone.
Who can use it and your account
You must be 18 or older. By creating an account, you declare that you are.
You sign in with email and password or with your Google account, through Firebase. The account is personal: keep your password safe, do not share access and do not resell the account.
You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you suspect someone else got in, write to [email protected] and change your password.
Plans, tiers and credits
There are two plan groups, priced the same at each tier: “Create apps”, to use the builder, and “Coding”, where you use our API key in your own coding agent. The tiers are Pro, Pro 5x and Pro 20x.
Each plan gives an amount of credits per month: 900 on Pro, 4,500 on 5x and 9,950 on 20x. One credit equals US$ 0.01 of AI and computing cost. Every generation consumes credits, both for the AI and for server time.
Credits are valid within the plan month. They do not turn into money, are not refunded in cash and cannot be moved to another account.
Usage limits per window
So the service works well for everyone, usage has limits per time window: 20% of the month's credits every 5 hours, 50% per week and 100% per month.
You can reset the 5-hour window yourself, right away and at no cost. The weekly and monthly windows cannot be reset.
These limits may change if the cost of AI changes. We give notice first, as described in the section on changes.
Trial credits
A new account gets 50 credits to try things out, once only. They are there so you can get to know the service before subscribing.
There is no permanently free plan. Trial credits are not refundable, do not add to plan credits and do not renew.
Creating several accounts to get that bonus again is prohibited use and may lead to suspension.
Prices and payment methods
In Brazil prices are fixed in reais: Pro R$ 94.99 per month (R$ 89.90 per month on the annual plan), 5x R$ 462.99 per month (R$ 416.99 annual) and 20x R$ 999.99 per month (R$ 899.99 annual).
Outside Brazil prices are in US dollars: US$ 18, US$ 90 and US$ 199 per month, with 10% off on the annual plan.
We accept credit cards through Stripe and, in Brazil, Pix through Pagar.me. The price shown at checkout is the one that applies to the period you buy.
Renewal, plan changes and cancellation
On card, the subscription renews by itself until you cancel. You can cancel whenever you want and keep the plan until the end of the period already paid for.
On Pix, you buy a closed period of 1 month or 12 months. It does not renew by itself. We email you before it expires so you can renew if you want to.
Changing plans on card: moving up takes effect immediately, charged pro rata for the rest of the period; moving down takes effect at the next period. On Pix: renewing extends the period, and changing plans starts immediately, with the leftover value turning into extra days on the new plan.
Seven-day right to cancel
A purchase made over the internet can be undone within 7 calendar days of payment. This is article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
To use this right, write to [email protected] from the same email as your account saying you want to withdraw. We refund the amount paid through the same payment method and end the subscription.
If you already used credits in the period, we may deduct the used portion from the refund, to the extent the law allows. After those 7 days the period already paid for is not refunded — but you can cancel at any time so you are not charged again.
The AI and its providers
Your requests and the generated code are sent to third-party AI providers: DeepSeek, Meta and Z.ai. Without sending them, the service does not work.
Pay attention to the default model, called “Balanced”. It runs on the Contributor tier of Meta's Muse Spark. On that tier, Meta may use your requests and the responses to train its models.
For that reason it is prohibited to send personal data, sensitive data or confidential information in your requests — whether yours, your clients' or anyone else's. If you do not accept this use, choose another model tier before you write the request.
No guarantee of results
The AI makes mistakes. Generated code may have logic, security or performance flaws, and may not do exactly what you asked for.
Review and test the code before putting anything into production or using it with real customer data. Publishing is your decision, and so is the responsibility for that use.
The service is evolving. At this stage we do not offer a formal availability SLA: we work to keep everything running, but there may be downtime for maintenance or because a supplier fails.
Prohibited use and suspension
Do not use CodeMago for illegal content, phishing, scams, fraud, malware or spam, nor to infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, image or privacy.
It is also prohibited to try to get around the system's limits, to create accounts in series to earn trial credits again, and to resell to third parties the AI access you subscribed to.
If that happens, we may suspend the account and take the app offline. We give notice beforehand whenever possible; in serious cases, or where there is risk to other people, we act first and explain afterwards.
Who owns the code
The code the AI generates for you is yours. Use it, change it and take it wherever you like.
To host and serve your app, you give us a licence to store, copy and display that code while it is published with us. That licence ends when you take the app offline or close your account.
The platform, the CodeMago brand, the website, the generation engine and the system prompts are ours. Nothing here transfers those to you.
The apps you publish
You are responsible for the app you publish: its content, what people do with it and the laws that apply to your business.
If your app collects other people's data, you are the one answerable to them — including for having your own privacy policy where the law requires it.
We may take offline an app that breaches these terms or the law, and we may keep access logs for the period Brazilian law requires.
Limitation of liability
We are liable for damage caused by failures of our service, within the limits of Brazilian law. We do not exclude anything the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code does not allow to be excluded.
We are not liable for what is outside our control: an error in code you did not review, misuse of your app by third parties, an outage at an external provider, or loss of data that was stored in the end user's browser.
Keep your own copies of anything that matters.
Changes to prices and to these terms
We may change prices, plans, limits and these terms. When that happens, we notify you by email with reasonable notice before the change takes effect.
Anyone already subscribed keeps the agreed price until the end of the period paid for. A new price only applies at the next renewal.
If the change does not work for you, cancel before the next period begins. Continuing to use the service after the notice period means you accepted the new version.
Closing your account
You can delete your account whenever you want. When you do, we erase your personal data — email, name, tax number and phone are anonymised — and the subscription is cancelled.
Deleting does not refund the period already paid for, except under the right to cancel described above. Published apps go offline.
We keep tax records of the charges for as long as the law requires. That is a legal obligation and does not depend on your deletion request.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. For any dispute, the courts of the district where we are based are chosen: Mogi das Cruzes, SP, Brasil.
If you are a consumer, the law also lets you sue in the courts where you live. That right stands, here and wherever you are.
Before going to court, write to [email protected]. Almost everything gets sorted out by email.
